I have taught rising first graders in a reading/critical thinking program for 3 years and I taught rising first graders in a reading/critical thinking program for a year. I have tutored first and fourth graders in a school classroom. I assisted a teacher in a high school freshmen class. I volunteered in a program where students would submit their grades, extracurricular activities, and essays. Based on these, I would point out what they were doing well and what they needed improvement on. I would also grade their essays and provide feedback on those essays. I teach Pre-K students about Islam at our place of worship. I have always enjoyed teaching and helping others, and I would not want to miss an opportunity to tutor others. I have taken Statistics, Psych. Stats, Child Psychopathology, Abnormal Psychology, Intro. to Creative Writing, Intermediate Fiction, British Literature, African American Literature
