Throughout college, I regularly help classmates with subjects. I want to be a tutor because I know that I have strength in academics. I love learning and find science especially fascinating. I want to share my love of learning with others and encourage them with their studies. I know that academics can be extremely challenging and have myself experienced the feeling of defeat and hopelessness about a class. I think it is important to realize that an area of weakness in an academic subject does not indicate a lack of intelligence. Where there is a weakness, there is a strength somewhere else.
