I am an aspiring teacher with 6 months of professional tutoring experience in the sciences, math, and SAT/GRE preparation. I have classroom teaching experience at both the college and grade school levels. I enjoy teaching and helping students improve in their studies. I hope to obtain my teaching certificate to teach high school and college preparatory science in the near future. All of my students have improved one letter grade or better after completing the duration of tutoring. I believe that every student has a different learning style and difficulties in each subject area. Therefore, I tailor my tutoring sessions to meet each student's needs. I really enjoy outdoor activities like biking, hiking, and playing sand volleyball. I also enjoy reading, arts and crafts, movies, music, and volunteering in the community. There are very few things that I don't enjoy doing (with the exception of household chores).
