I went to Emory University to earn my bachelor's degrees in anthropology and biology. I have a strong background academically in biological sciences, and I have loved science since an early age. I enjoy sharing what I know about science with others. I have a lot of experience in mentoring and teaching, considering that I have three younger brothers. As a tutor, I don't just want to help students understand the subject at hand, but I also want to help them develop a love of learning and a desire to know more about how the world works. When I work with a student, it's important rest of form a connection. When students trust the tutor, they are more likely to communicate openly, which allows the tutor to teach to them more effectively. I want students to become confident in their abilities ultimately. Whenever I can find free time, I like to hike and camp. I'm looking forward to studying development and globalization in graduate school.
