Writing and the arts have always been an integral part of my life. I attended the Ruth Asawa School of the Arts in San Francisco for high school. I spent time performing in a variety of shows while I was there. I loved to write also. I wrote everything from poetry and fiction to essays. Because of that love of creative writing, I did an internship at a middle school as a creative writing/English teacher. After high school, I went on to attend college at Agnes Scott College. I am expanding my educational base to include other subjects such as women's studies (my major) and French and dance (my minors). I currently tutor students in a variety subjects that revolve around English. I am passionate about English. I love to see when a student is able to be creative and bring a fresh perspective to concepts they are studying. I am a firm believer that not all students learn in the same way. I am able to tailor my sessions for each student and still have them learn the same material as another student with a different learning style.When I have spare time, I love to spend it dancing, reading, and writing. I also enjoy learning new languages and cooking.
