My name is Tashonna Polite and I am 25 years old. I recently received my Bachelor's degree from Walden University in Criminal Justice, but is now pursuing a Master's in education. My love for children began when I was hired in 2010 as a bus monitor for children with special needs. I discovered that teaching and caring for students is a passion of mines and from there pursued a career working as a paraprofessional. I've learned so much in the education field and realize that every child learns differently. There are visual learners, children who need one on one assistance, and you also have those who see or hear something once and ace it. Children are our future doctors, lawyers, police officials, and etc so it is imperative that they are being taught the essentials to life and learning. In my spare time I love cosmetology and makeup. There is also reading and writing poetry.
