Experience
I have a BS in Sport Management from the University of Massachusetts Isenberg School. I then attended the University of Medicine and Health Sciences to receive a medical doctorate. While I was in medical school, I began working as a tutor and teaching assistant. I focused on gross anatomy, neuroscience, and neuroanatomy. I tutored these subjects specifically while working as a teaching assistant, helping students to understand how the material complemented and overlapped. My tutoring strengths are anatomy and physiology, life sciences, and college-level essay writing. With my background in medicine, I am particularly well suited to teaching anatomy and physiology. These two subjects compliment each other well, giving students the understanding of anatomical structure and how this relates to the whole human body, from cell function to organ systems. My tutoring style is to break apart the concepts and build them back in ways that make sense to each student, taking note of their individual needs as learners. When I'm not tutoring I love being outside. I also love enjoying the city of Atlanta, finding great restaurants and sights as often as I can. I soon hope to begin a residency, where my medical training will be implemented even further.
